Its been an exciting year hosting the exhibition of “The Acorn Lamp,” a piece by Kevin Carman and Taft Garden's first Artist in Residence Cassandra C. Jones! Saturday evening July 24th we celebrate the closing of the exhibitions that launched the Taft Gardens Art in Nature Program! Proceeds from this event will support the development of Art in Nature programming at Taft Gardens.

“The Acorn Lamp”, 7 feet tall and made of Royal Blue Granite and New Mexican Travertine is on exhibition at the entrance of the South African Garden until the end of July, so join us on Saturday evening, July 24th, to watch the lamp light up!

Also, the Taft Gardens Art in Nature Residency Exhibition show, Woah and Wonder, will be on display in our Historic Art Studio through July 31st! Artist in Residence, Cassandra C. Jones will be in studio between 6-7pm on July 24th so grab a glass of local wine or beer and take the Self-Guided Walking Tour to visit the Art Studio, meet Cassandra and learn about her work.

The Conservation Endowment Fund 501c3 non-profit, steward to Taft Gardens & Nature Preserve, will receive 20% of the Art Sale proceeds supporting our Art in Nature Program.
