This class will be an introduction to curanderismo, the traditional healing of Mexico and other Latinx countries. Atava will share about the history, philosophy and practices of curanderismo, with a focus on herbal medicine knowledge. We will learn about key plants used in curanderismo and also discuss ways to build relationships with plants and connect to our own herbal allies.
